Midwestern Conductors Workshop


The University of Kansas Bands will be hosting the Midwestern Conductors Workshop on Saturday, May 3, 2014. Professor H. Robert Reynolds from the USC Thornton School of Music will be our clinician, along with Paul W. Popiel, KU Director of Bands, and Matthew O. Smith, KU Associate Director of Bands.

The Midwestern Conductors Workshop is open to conductors of all levels. Participating conductors will have the opportunity to conduct the University of Kansas Wind Ensemble, recently hailed by the New York Times as "one of America's most esteemed concert bands."

First Suite in E-flat, Gustav Holst
Lincolnshire Posy, Percy Grainger
Simple Gifts, Frank Ticheli
Down a Country Lane, Aaron Copland
