About the artist

Raymond Riccomini has been a member of the Metropolitan Opera orchestra trumpet section since 2004 and is currently on the faculty of the Mannes College of Music as well as chairman of their brass department. He received his BM from Mannes as a student of Vincent Penzarella, and his MM from Manhattan School of Music, studying with Philip Smith of the New York Philharmonic. Raymond has recorded, toured, and performed extensively with the New York Philharmonic, played on numerous Broadway shows, and also held a position with the New Jersey Symphony.
